Therapeutic Massage

Facilitates the body’s natural healing process by addressing specific soft tissue tension, trauma, or injury. It requires good communication between the client and the therapist. Deep tissue doesn’t just mean more pressure. Deep tissue massage unwinds and releases the deepest muscles and soft tissue layers of the body. Because it takes time to work through the muscle layers, 75 minute sessions are recommended for clients who would like a whole body deep tissue massage plus targeted work in a certain area (e.g., neck or shoulder).

Facial massage is one one kind of natural therapy that can give our face glow and tone. Just like any other type of massages, it gives a relaxing feeling, relieves tension and promotes good circulation of the blood to your face. It is also called an anti-aging treatment because it reduces wrinkles and tightens facial muscles. Facial massage also normalizes the moisture balance of the skin, helps in reducing impurities and toxins, and increases radiance.

Pregnancy Massage

A special pillow allows moms-to-be to receive massage comfortably lying on her side or on her stomach. Pregnancy massage can relieve back pain and radiating pain down the legs (sciatica), reduce edema, and help regulate hormones. All necessary precautions are taken to ensure the comfort and safety of you and your baby.

Foot Reflexology

Reflexology involves application of pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body. Some benefits of reflexology include: improves circulation, helps prevent foot and ankle injuries, reduces the effects of depression and anxiety, helps with headaches and migraines, helps with flat feet and plantar fasciitis.

Compassionate Touch Massage

Compassionate touch is a very light touch, soothing and comforting for chronic, long-term and terminal illnesses. For relief from emotion and physical pain, reconnect the body, assist in “letting go” and bring comfort and healing to the final days of life. This style of massage is not meant to fix or cure or “cheer up” the dying. It is meant to love, nurture, relax, relieve, give quality of life and just be.
